“Keeping The Peace” now available!

I am pleased to announce that my latest book titled “Keeping The Peace” has been published.  It is available on Amazon both in paperback and in e-book format.  Simply go to Amazon Books and enter my name and through the magic of the internet the book cover and details appear.

The back cover reads as follows.  Peacekeeping and Peacebuilding is one of the most effective ways to help stabilize a society after the devastation of war or the disruption of failed states.  By sharing this responsibility with member states of the U.N., the U.S. saves at the rate of eight to one over going it alone. Additionally, peacekeeping efforts are more acceptable to recipient societies when implemented by a mixed global force.

After a career as a Peace Corps Volunteer , Labor Negotiator, HR Administrator  and court appointed mediator the author served with the U.N. in high profile and frequently hazardous assignments in Somalia, Iraq, Afghanistan and Sudan.  He currently does special assignments for the Department of Peacekeeping Operations and serves on the Board of Directors of an NGO.  He is active in the United Nations Association in the U.S. and the U.K. dividing his time between the two locations.  He travels extensively and is currently researching the global refugee situation.

I would like to hear any comments from readers of my books and followers of this blog.
